Activities at Amo & Pax
Go vintage to give your home decor a new lease of life
Read a great article by Eleanor Flegg on craftspeople around Ireland turning to old creative methods and renewing vintage pieces to give interiors a new lease of life featuring Amanda at Amo & Pax.
We’re lucky enough to be included in a lovely article by Eleanor Flegg in Irish Independent Interiors today, 6 Sept.
– Amo & Pax is a place where you might find something that will lift your spirits in the moment and continue to do so once you get it home. “It’s a question of having the confidence to know what you like and why it makes you happy. Why does it make you glad? Why does it make you calm?” Amanda says. “I opened the shop because I want to be part of the conversation about what people buy and why.”
Thanks to Eleanor for such a positive piece promoting craft, makers, independent retailers and the importance of thinking about sustainability, materials and ethical making – all issues so close to our heart. Also featured in her article, two Irish businesses we are fans of: housemcgrath.com in Cork and provenance-interior.ie over in Clifden.
